Harvest Colors

When summer fades and autumn rolls in, vivid colors and fall aromas take center stage in my creative process. I have fond memories of the pumpkin road trip.(It was only 30 minutes away but when you're young, that's a road trip!) All summer long we drove by a green, leafy field that seemed to go on forever. Then in autunm it was magically filled with bright orange bumps. The trees had shed their foliage and an array of leaves was underfoot—bright, luminous, and so saturated with color that you were sure if you picked one up, the color would rub off on your hands!
