In the Winter 2006 Issue: Creative Sparks!
I love the artists I am privileged to work with. The creative sparks must just fly around in their heads like fireflies, don’t you think? As you page through this issue, let some of that creative enthusiasm rub off onto you. In this issue, the great range of tassels will stretch the limits of your creativity: Kelly Russell explores metal clay, and Patti Ryan shows you how to repurpose everyday, household items into beautiful tassels. You’ll also notice that Pet Panaché, by Susan Barnes, takes a different approach this issue. Her adorable doggie bracelet, meant to be worn by us humans, lets us celebrate our pets on our wrists for a change. Use sterling silver tubing to create Lynda Musante’s breathtaking pendant, then dive into something purple with Kim Fandry’s wall sconce. You’ll want to make one for everyone! We hope you enjoy this issue! |
