What's Inside this Issue
In the Fall 2006 Issue: Beaded Opportunities!

The Fall 2006 issue of Bead Unique has a stellar lineup of artists and beaded wonders for you as usual. Laurel Musante, our creative teenager, brings you Next Generation, a beading column for teens and ‘tweens. Starting with this issue, we’re showcasing a new page in conjunction with the gallery. This Art Glass Gallery page will be dedicated to glass items beyond the bead. It may be glass sculpture, glass paperweights or as on our first page, Wine Bottle Stoppers. Bead Synergy is a new Bead Unique column featuring innovative products and combinations of materials in wearable art. In this column’s debut, learn about some fantastic findings and beads from Ghost Cow. With autumn around the corner, leaves take center stage—a concept we’ve embraced on the following pages. We’ve got a leaf style for everyone: metal clay leaves from Patti Kimle, bead embroidery leaves with Nicole Campanella, gold mesh leaves from Lisa Kan, and Russian leaves with Tatiana Van Iten.
